Mendocino Theatre Company Leadership Update
As we are about to begin our 50th Anniversary season, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce two updates to the leadership team. We have engaged Ft Bragg resident, Diane Larson, to join the team of Artistic Directors. In 2022, MTC implemented a three-person Artistic Director team, instead of the traditional one-person approach. This was done to improve access, viewpoints, styles and create a more energized and vital process that selects the plays we produce every year. To that end, we think Diane represents an invaluable perspective that will play an important role in the future of MTC.

Mendocino Theatre Company Leadership Team Changes
The MTC Board of Directors announced changes to its leadership team today. Beth Craven is departing after three seasons as Producing Director. Alex Wright has been appointed Interim Producing Director for the remainder of the 2025 season. The Board plans to make a permanent hire before the end of the year. “While we are sad to see Beth go, we are extremely fortunate to be working with Alex. He brings a depth of experience, a range of artistic sensibility, and the commitment and temperament this position needs to succeed”, says Jeff Rowlings, president of the Board.
