She holds a Bachelors in Theatre, Speech and English from Northwestern University, and an M.Phil. in Irish Theatre from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. Ginny created an award-winning K-12 Arts curriculum and taught English Literature and Theatre Arts in Illinois, Massachusetts, Iowa and, in CA, at The Branson School, Evergreen Valley College, University of San Francisco, University of the Pacific and the University of California at Santa Cruz. Ginny has directed contemporary as well as classic plays, plays with music and full musicals, and adaptations of literature for performance.  She currently serves on the Mendocino Theatre Company’s Play Selection Committee.
