“The altogether splendid acting, directed by Virginia Reed, clearly portrays parallel lives anchored in loss, isolation and longing. A simple stage set, done by the talented Diane Larson, contains three distinct locations: living room, office and terrace. Illustrating the separation in Becky’s life, the living room and office are distanced by center stage space from the terrace. Selective lighting effectively isolates and focuses on the three locations when, Allen, almost always in motion, moves seamlessly back and forth through rapid setting changes….”
