The “long intermission” is finally coming to an end, and we are excited to announce that our production of The Cemetery Club, which first opened in March of 2020, will reopen on September 9, 2021!
Three Jewish widows meet once a month for tea before going to visit their husbands’ graves. Ida is sweet-tempered and ready to begin a new life; Lucille is a feisty embodiment of the girl who just wants to have fun; and Doris is priggish and judgmental, particularly when Sam the butcher enters the scene. This warm, touching comedy about enduring friendships and life’s unexpected changes feels particularly poignant in these post-quarantine times!
Very touching and humorous. An evening of pure pleasure that will make you glad you went to the theatre.
