Characters
Logan – Female, age range is flexible 30’s – 60’s, Caucasion looking, the high school drama teacher that’s always pushing the envelope in potentially inappropriate ways. Earnest about the theater and proving herself.
Jaxton – Male, age range is flexible 30’s – 60’s, needs to be believeable that he and Logan could have an attraction to one another, Caucasian looking, yoga practitioner/actor. Politically correct to a fault, a big one. He’s that confident guy everyone loves, but his logical PC thinking takes weird turns.
Caden – Male, age range flexible. Caucasian looking, the academic. Awkward elementary school history teacher with dramatic aspirations but no experience.
Alicia – Female, age range felixble 30’s -40’s, dark haired Caucation looking but has looks that would have been cast as ethnic in the 1950’s movies. Without guile, sexy and hot, but not too bright.
About the Director
The play is being directed by Betty Abramson who has directed many plays on the MTC stage. “I look at each production as an opportunity to learn more about the craft and to create a production the playwright would appreciate watching. This play will involve collaboration between the actors and myself in creating some really off the wall and yet familiar behavior to our audiences. TIMELINE
The play runs from November 14th through December 15th. Rehearsals will begin offically around October 14th but I would love to have some informal gatherings at the beginning of October. Everything is contingent on casting and folks’ availability.
