A MUSICAL TRIBUTE TO FRIENDSHIP AND SONG Ted Swindley’s popular musical follows the true story of Patsy Cline’s friendship with Louise Seger, a fan from Houston, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk and continued a correspondence with Cline until her untimely death in a plane crash. Featuring 27 of Patsy’s greatest hits, it is a summer treat for the whole family.

Character Descriptions

Patsy Cline – Age 30s – 40s Primarily a singing role. Must be familiar with Patsy Cline’s vocal range and style and be able to embody her persona from her 20s to late 30s. Some text.

Louise Seger – Woman of indeterminate age ranging from 40’s – 60’s. Comic role very flashy and fun. Texas accent. Some dancing. The play is Louise’s prsonal and true story of her friendship with Patsy Cline. As such she speaks almost the entire text of the play. A Houston housewife, she is brash, lovable and full of life.
